			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was attending our weekly webinar training today with <em>Don and Janet Legere</em> and we had a special guest, <em>&#8220;Mr. Steve Gahagen&#8221;</em>.</p>
<p>The topic of discussion was the <strong>different colors of personalities</strong> we encounter in our relationship building and how to actually relate to those personalities.  It was quite an eye opener for me.</p>
<p>I am not going to go into the types of typical personalities there are in this post, rather I simply want to point out the significance of knowing them. Personality plays a major role in our lives in general.  From an early age we become very aware that people are different and unique in their own right.  We are all born with our own special traits that will allow us to deal with the world around us.</p>
<p>In life in general, relationships are built in many ways and in many venues, yet when it comes to your <em>Network Marketing</em> endeavors positive relationship building means the difference between great success and not so great success.  We have come to know that <em>Branding Yourself is a must</em> if you are going to succeed online.  Well, it really goes further than that.  You attract people to you when you publicize who you are and what you are all about.  That is where knowing personalities and being able to relate to those personalities becomes key.  Not only to you, but more importantly to those who decide to connect or join with you.  knowing how to relate to peoples personality types will go along way in your ability to be able to attract all types of people to you.  Knowing these traits will also allow you to relate to them so that you can help them when they do join you.</p>

No one sets out to fail; however, in target marketing as with any business endeavor, there are certain criteria to be considered.  The first key point will be that of knowing the market for your product or service.  This could apply to the demographic make-up of the area.  If you are focusing on a service that is directed toward families with young children, you are headed in the wrong direction to center your marketing efforts in the highly populated retirement age communities.  Failure to know your market spells poor return.</p>
<p>Getting it all wrong is easy when an offered service or product is lacking in quality. To fail in target marketing can be a quick downhill spiral when you have poor workmanship or a service that fails to go beyond the expected.  Clients will fail to continue with a business relationship that is not founded on trust and confidence. The relationship between the customer and businessman can be one where each participant goes beyond the ordinary way of doing business.</p>
<p>While your confidence may be of grand proportion in regard to your business endeavor, it is safe to say that not everyone is going to rush to buy your product.  This is one of the misconceptions in target marketing.  While zeal and enthusiasm are great qualities in the starting of a new venture, the harsh reality is that one must zero in on that small sector who really and truly need this item or service and target this group with a vengeance.  This is where you will spend your advertising dollars and wait for the returns to roll in.</p>
<p>For local marketing, failure to avail yourself of the abundance of information available to you through your local Chamber of Commerce can spell trouble.  These statistics can provide you with the tools needed as to where in the community you can best focus your efforts.  This target marketing allows for the dividing or segmenting to streamline your plan.  It is all about specializing.  Keeping the perimeters small and not too broad will allow for a more defined outcome.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Marketing your business is an important element for success; however, you have to understand who you are marketing for and why and determine if they are worth marketing for. This is called target marketing and every successful business does it. Consider the television industry for a moment, they target market all of the time. First they determine what age group and gender should be watching their show and they advertise based on what they think will be appealing to that market. While they track viewers from all markets, they consider their show a success if their target group is actively watching and talking about their television program.</p>
<p>Many people try to market to every group available, this is really a terrible and expensive way to market your product. You must first determine who is most likely to purchase your product. This could be a specific age group or families with children or even specific religious or non-religious groups. Making this determination will not only save you money but ensure that the people who want your product are aware of it and if you are doing your job right, they are buying it as well. The bottom line is that target marketing will yield you more results than marketing to all groups will.</p>
<p>One thing that you should be very careful of when determining your target audience when preparing your target marketing campaign is that the group should not be too small. While having a niche product can help you greatly, especially with the competition, if your target group are women ages 22 to 23 then you have narrowed the field too much. You are going to spend money on your marketing and you need to make it worth while for you and your company.</p>
<p>One of the greatest things about target marketing is that not only will it lead to individuals in that target group to your product, but if they like your product it will lead to growth because your target group will talk about the product that they love, which can send more business your way. Focusing on a target group for your marketing campaign will not only save you money, but it will allow you to stay within an appropriate budget for your marketing campaign.</p>

<p><strong>4. See The Final Goal</strong></p>
<p>Is is critical that you have a destination for your business.  There are many steps and goals that you will reach for as you climb the ladder of success in your business.  Always visualize and realize where you are going.  Without a clear point of focus, you will find yourself wondering in the internet wasteland.  See it, believe it and go get it.</p>
<p><strong>5. Stand Proud And Strong</strong></p>
<p>Never quit.  The winner is pround and the winner is strong.  The winner will stay the course.  When forks in the road or dead ends in the path get in the way, the winner will climb over them.  The winner will strive to reach the target that he set as his goals.  Though sometimes the focus may get a little blurred, the winner will overcome the situation, learn from it and move on.</p>
<p>You must always remember that you are building your legacy.  Your legacy can not be built on a whim and it can not be built in an instant.  It takes a committed leader, organized and focused, never giving up in their home based business endeavors to create long lasting success.</p>

<p>This is why it is critical for your business to build a customer base &#8212; a group of people who trust you and will most likely buy a product that you offer to them . This will ensure that you have a recurring and consistent source of income. When you release a product or make an endorsement, you have a group of people always ready to hear what you have to say.</p>
<p>There are several sources that you can tap into to start building a customer base. For example,  you can comment on articles and reviews giving fee help and advice in blogs and forums that are relevant to your niche . It won&#8217;t be long before people start to recognize your name and stop and listen every time you have something to say. You will become a valuable friend and teacher, and gain the trust of these people. Would you buy something your close friend recommends ?</p>
<p>Another way to build a customer base is to build a mailing list.  there are many methods for collecting subscribers, but when it&#8217;s boiled down to the very essence , it&#8217;s all about proving your value to the crowd and offering an incentive to make people become part of your mailing list.  A good example is a blog containing lots of articles containing useful advice and help for free plus a &#8220;special report&#8221; that can be downloaded for free provided you give your email address. The rich content provides value, and the &#8220;special report&#8221; is the extra incentive.</p>
<p>Another source for your customer base is of course your existing customers.  If you bought a product or service from someone, and they followed through and met your expectations, wouldn&#8217;t you buy from them again? Definitely. When a customer has given you his money, that does not have to be the end of the affair (and shouldn&#8217;t be)  because by keeping in touch with them and developing a flourishing relationship with them, you will have a lifetime source of income.</p>
<p>Imagine if 100, 1000 or even 10000 customers are waiting to grab your newest products even before they are released!  It is critical to your business to build a list of subscribers and a customer base because it saves time, effort and builds income.</p>

Write and submit articles.  Your articles should always pertain to your services and/or products.  Give publishers the right to use your articles and materials.  You could begin finding them in peoples websites, news letters, E-books and many other places.  Insure that you provide a resource box with your article and require that it be posted along with your article.  A good practice is to offer the reprint rights in the resource box of your articles.</p>
<p>3. Graphics and web designs make great give aways.  Create a package of graphics and templates and give them away at your web site.  Be sure to include your own ads and links back to your website.  Always include a copy right notice.  Also require the user of your products to keep that copy right notice in tact.</p>

Create a discussion board or forum.  This is a great social tool.  As many people don&#8217;t own their own web sites, they will use the discussion board as form form of web site to attract traffic to them.  insure that you have links and banners of your own in prominant places of the discussion board.</p>
<p>5. Find viral E-books that offer re-branding rights.  You can find these for free and for purchase on the internet.  After re-branding it with your information, give it away for free and allow your visitors to give it away for free.  Their visitors can give it away for free as well.  See how viral the E-book can become, spreading your information around on the internet.</p>
<p>6. It is easy to locate product owners on-line that will sell free distribution rights to their products.  This gives you the ability to give out products for free.  People love to receive quality products for free.  Finding products with branding rights allows you to distribute your name, web address and maybe even your contact information along with the product.</p>
